What is neuroathletic training?

In contrast to traditional athletic or therapeutic training approaches, neuroathletic training places the function and performance of the central nervous system at the center of attention. The focus lies on those central nervous processes through which the brain integrates sensory information, generates motor programs, and organizes the regulation of movement. The analysis of the specific demands placed on the neuronal systems responsible for movement control forms the foundation for optimizing athletic performance, motor efficiency, physical health, as well as targeted rehabilitation.

This approach originates from many years of practical application in elite sports and, due to its structural clarity and adaptive logic, has proven to be exceptionally transferable to therapeutic and rehabilitative practice.
