Lars impresses not only with his expertise, but above all with who he is as a person. No matter when – he’s there, with heart, mind, and full attention. During the 2023 World Championships, he helped me via FaceTime despite severe pain – with success: I qualified for the Olympics.
Thank you, Lars – you’re a true gamechanger!

Thanks to the neuro-athletic training with Lars, I stayed injury-free for over four years. I owe a lot to this approach.

Anyone who tries neuro-athletic training will notice a difference immediately. I find it endlessly fascinating and impressive how quickly the nervous system responds and how specifically it can be targeted.

Frequently asked questions

I don’t work professionally in elite sports. Is the neuro-athletic trainer certification still useful for me?

In principle, all our advanced training programs are suitable for anyone with experience in any form of movement and/or an interest in the human brain. This includes fields like sports, performing arts, or therapy/rehabilitation—whether for professional or personal reasons. The content is always explained in an accessible way and built upon step by step.

More important than prior knowledge are curiosity, openness to a new perspective, and the willingness to engage with and try neuro-athletic training.

Can I complete the modules of the neuro-athletic trainer certification in any order?

No. The 5 modules of the certification build on each other and should be completed in the following order:

  • Module 1
  • Module 2
  • Module 3: Strength and Mobility
  • Module 4: Speed
  • Module 5: Endurance

The foundational Modules 1 and 2 must be completed first. After that, the specialized modules follow.

If you are unable to attend the modules in the suggested order, please contact us at anfrage@nat-institute.com and we will do our best to find a solution together.

Do I have to attend all modules of the neuro-athletic trainer certification at the same location?

No. The content of the modules is always the same, regardless of location.

Therefore, you can complete the training at different locations.

It’s important to follow the correct order of the modules:

  • Module 1
  • Module 2
  • Module 3: Strength and Mobility
  • Module 4: Speed
  • Module 5: Endurance

If you’re unable to attend the modules in the given order, please contact us at anfrage@nat-institute.com and we’ll do our best to find a solution together.

Do I have to complete the neuro-athletic trainer certification within a specific timeframe?

No, there is no fixed timeframe for completing the certification. If you book all modules at one location, the training takes around 10 months.

However, you can spread the modules over 1 to 2.5 years.

A longer duration is not recommended from our point of view.

Can I book Module 1 individually and still claim the full booking discount later?

Yes, you can book Module 1 at the regular price first.

If you then decide to book the complete training program, you will retroactively receive the full booking discount – meaning you’ll pay a total of €5,499 for all 5 modules.

The same applies if you first book both basic modules at the regular price and later decide to continue with Modules 3, 4, and 5.

Do I have to pay the full amount at once when booking the complete neuro-athletic trainer package?

No. Upon request, it is possible to arrange an individual installment payment plan.

Please contact us at anfrage@nat-institute.com.

Are there financial support options for participating in a seminar?

The Neuro Athletic Training Institute is currently not a certified continuing education provider. However, individual funding measures have already been approved.

Please check with the relevant funding agencies. We’re happy to support you in gathering the necessary information for your application.

What is the process of the final exam for certified neuro-athletic trainers?

After completing all five training modules, you have the opportunity to take the written final exam to become a certified neuro-athletic trainer.

Participation in the exam is optional. However, passing the exam is required to receive the neuro-athletic trainer certificate and to be listed on our website as an NAT trainer.

The exam consists of five parts—each module has its own set of questions. Each part must be passed individually.

You complete and submit the exam via the digital testing platform exam.net. There is no time limit, so you can work through the questions at your own pace.

Who is the NAT Fundamentals Workshop suitable for?

The NAT Fundamentals Workshop is designed as an introductory seminar. It focuses on general topics such as the key systems involved in movement control and how to improve all movement or output regulation by optimizing incoming sensory input.

This workshop is the perfect starting point for coaches, trainers, athletes, therapists, and anyone interested in neuro-athletic training.

How does an in-house training session work?

Our specialized instructor will teach you and your team the key fundamentals of neuro-athletic training. We also tailor the training to your specific needs – this will be coordinated with you in advance.

To properly convey the complexity and practical applications of this topic, and to give you sufficient hands-on experience, we always recommend a two-day weekend training session.
